  • A security guarantee of $150 is added to the event cost and refunded at the conclusion if all rules and regulations are followed; if the venue is cleared of all guests within 15 minutes from conclusion; it guarantees no damage to the venue or loss suffered by venue; guarantees that the booker will not invite more than the maximum capacity and all guests will remain in the venue during the event and not loiter outside the venue.
  • All reservation deposits are non-refundable.  All deposits will be applied to the open balances.  The total cost of the event and security guarantee must be paid in full no later than 24-Hours prior to event.  If there is an open balance 24 hours before event, the venue will have the right to cancel the event and no credit or refund will be given.


Every Party Package includes:

  • 3 people to help you (a Host, a Hostess and a Greeter).
  • 2 FREE hours to decorate.
  • Full clean up service after your event is finished.  We are GREEN certified by the state so we will sort all the refuse.  Unwanted food will be taken for composting; plates and cups and bottles and cans for recycling.  Our venue is immaculately maintained and very clean.
  • Our staff will pack all your items and make “doggie-bags” for your guests to take food home.
  • Our gorgeous venue has central air and heat and ductless HVAC and is properly ventilated.  We are proud to provide a clean, safe, comfortable and cozy environment with decorative lighting and much more.  
  • Spacious wheel chair accessible powder room with grab bars.
  • Cozy lounge for relaxing and watching TV.
  • Brand new banquet tables and seating accommodations in our dining room for up to 65 guests plus additional seating in our Lounge. 
  • Use of our customizeable, white, wicker love seat bench complete with comfortable cushion for the "Guest of Honor" and "Significant Other".  We also have a bronze garden bench (very elegant).
  • Use of wet bar for soda, juice, water etc., coolers, decanters, ice buckets, glass wares, salt & pepper shakers, candy- and chips baskets, cup cake racks, cake displays, platters, cake servers, cutting boards, cutlery, caddy for napkins and utensils and more.
  • Use of full size fridge, freezer, micro wave oven, sink, and accessories.
  • Use of professional stainless steel buffet system (8 chafers), 4 tray food warmer, 2-1/2 hour  methanol and serving utensils all included.
  • No need to hire a DJ!!  Use our stereo with bluetooth wireless sound system technology for smart phone, iPad or laptop hookup, 2 big screen TV's for cartoon & sports channels and for photo slideshows, plus professional Bose surround sound system with microphone stand and device clip.

  • Fabric/Linen Package Rental for adult-only events include tablecloths in white or black, table runners and sashes as well as sequin curtain panels for backdrop as well as matching sheer curtains, vines, scarf and bows plus overlays for display table and cake table.  All our fabrics and curtains are available in champagne, appletini, royal, caribbean (baby) blue, turquise, orange, pink, lavender, purple, fuchsia, black, yellow, sterling, white, red, burlap & lace, wine, blush, bronze, stripes and wisteria.  The whole room is lit up by a throne of fairy lights hidden behind a backdrop of pure white sheer curtains and it is gorgeous - affordable - exclusive package price only $350.

Welcome to the most affordable party & meeting room for hire in New York.  

Welcome to Susan's House of Magic, Parties & Showers, a unique and ultra modern party, meeting and disco facility located off the corner of Bruckner Boulevard and Waterbury Avenue in Pelham Bay, The Bronx, New York 10461. And 

You may bring your own food, cake & beverages which makes an event affordable.  Why spend thousands of dollars to have your special event.

We specialize in baby showers.  We host anniversaries, children's birthdays (under the age of 13), adult birthdays, college graduations, going away parties, high school and college reunions, receptions, family reunions, bridal showers, gender reveal events plus many religious celebrations up to 70 guests.

All of our events are private and by invitation only.  Our venue is wheel chair accessible.  For the safety of all minors, adult supervision is required.



The Daytime Weekday Rate for meetings, trainings, classroom-style courses or corporate presentations held Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 5 pm is:

$600 per day (excludes buffet equipment/food service)

$800 per day (includes buffet equipment/food service)

The Daytime Weekday “After Funeral Service Family Gathering” Rate held Monday  thru Friday from 1 pm to 5 pm, is:

$800 (includes buffet equipment/food service).



We do NOT host events with more than 70 guests.

We do NOT host 13th, 14th, 15th, Sweet 16's, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th or 21st birthdays, bachelor or after-prom parties.

Our venue is informal and not equipped to host weddings.
